Catkins Feral Cats is a nonprofit organization located in Oregon, dedicated to the humane care, management, and advocacy for feral and community cats. Our mission is to reduce the suffering and overpopulation of feral cats through a comprehensive program of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), colony monitoring, public education, and the adoption of socialized kittens and cats when appropriate.
We provide the following services:
- Implementing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to humanely reduce and stabilize feral cat populations.
- Providing medical care, including vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries.
- Supporting volunteer caretakers with resources, food, and guidance for managed colonies.
- Educating the public about responsible community cat management and the importance of spaying/neutering.
- Offering foster and adoption opportunities for socialized or adoptable cats and kittens.
Catkins Feral Cats operates entirely on donations and volunteer support, with all funds directed toward our nonprofit efforts, medical care, and community outreach initiatives.
Catkins Feral Cats is committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of every dollar entrusted to our care. We believe our donors, partners, and community supporters deserve a clear understanding of how contributions are used and the life-saving impact they make possible. Ethical standards and a long-term commitment to sustainability in support of feral and community cats guide our financial practices.
Donations directly fund essential feline care, including veterinary services such as spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, emergency medical treatment, and rehabilitation. Contributions also support our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts, colony management, including food and all the essentials needed to help maintain wellness in the colony, foster support when needed, and community education initiatives designed to reduce suffering and prevent overpopulation.
In addition, donations help cover the operational and administrative costs required to responsibly run a nonprofit organization. These expenses include insurance, compliance, supplies, transportation, equipment, and the infrastructure necessary to carry out our programs safely and effectively. Supporting these foundational needs enables Catkins Feral Cats to operate efficiently, uphold high standards of care, and continue creating a meaningful and measurable impact for feral cats and the communities they inhabit.
Every contribution helps turn compassion into action. 🐾

We are run by owner-volunteers dedicated to community outreach for feral cat care. Join us in our mission to help feral cats by volunteering or making a donation. Your support is crucial to our efforts in providing care and advocacy for these often-overlooked animals, including our Trap-Neuter-Return initiatives.

We started rescuing and helping cats many years ago in a different state. After losing our home to fire, moving to an apartment where we had to limit our outreach efforts and close down all efforts. Since relocating to Oregon, we have rekindled our commitment to community outreach by focusing on feral cat care and implementing Trap-Neuter-Return programs to assist both cats and our community.

CATKINS FERAL CATS is a nonprofit dedicated to humane feral cat care through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), medical support, colony management, adoptions, and public education to reduce overpopulation and improve cat welfare.
Catkins Feral Cats is a volunteer-based business. All proceeds we receive will go to cats, cat care, and anything we do with the Catkins Feral Cat Organization.
Catkins Feral Cats provides resources and support for cat caretakers, including information on TNR and feeding. We purchase cat food, disposable dishes, cat beds, blankets, and safe dry outside housing for the feral colony cats we care for. In our TNR program, we schedule appointments with veterinarians who are willing to help, spay/neuter, and provide medical care.
